Heritage Crossings Receives “Perfect Score” from State Inspection
Heritage Crossings has received a deficiency-free survey result from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and national recognition for commitment to quality.
Once a year, surveyors from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services arrive at facilities unannounced. This is a very comprehensive survey. The surveyors tour the nursing home and meet with key team members. They also meet with residents and talk with them about their care and the quality of life in the home. State surveyors also review medical records, assess fire safety, and much more.
A deficiency-free “perfect score” shows services at Heritage Crossings meet or exceed all state and federal standards.
The surveys, and the subsequent ratings, help prospective and current residents, their families, and health care practitioners to make informed choices about the quality of a long-term care facility.
Located in Geneva, Nebraska, Heritage Crossings provides skilled nursing care, adult day care, as well as assisted living apartments and independent living cottages. The care community is a member of the Vetter Senior Living family, a Nebraska based provider founded 50 years ago by Jack and Eldora Vetter.
