Family Carnival

Residents      Kids

It took two tries, with the second date starting out damp and dreary, but we went ahead with our carnival anyway and had a great turnout and a terrific time! We moved the entertainment by Jon Scoville and Roger Pittard, and later Dr. Bespalec to the Multi-Purpose Room and did not set up our usual concession stand.

Cooks  Our grillers, Jim Oberlander and Dick Nelson, set up three grills outside the Assisted Living, while Dick’s family helped serve up the hot dogs and hamburgers for the many residents, family, and friends who took advantage of the “meal deal”. When the “drizzle” let up, we put out four games for the kids, young and old, to play and there was a line-up to have the “Balloon girl” shape balloons into a variety of animals, flowers, and other shapes. Bonnie brought in her parrot, Samson for everyone to enjoy and he truly was on his best behavior! It was most enjoyable to see all the folks who came out to enjoy good food, good music, and camaraderie that go with the Carnival!
